NATO's Plan To Provoke, Blame, and Isolate Russia - The Animating Contest of Freedom

NATO’s Plan To Provoke, Blame, and Isolate Russia

NATO is provoking Russia by surrounding it with weapons and troop buildup
NATO is Provoking Russia by Surrounding it with Weapons and Troop Build-Ups Forcing Russia to Respond

covers real information happening in real time.  This subject was covered as the Ukrainian coup was actually happening two years ago.  Now we find ourselves in the position of having two global super-powers digging in for war over these same events written about long ago.  The Globalist create the crisis, provoke reaction, and deliver their solution.  We must have a memory concerning world events or they will continue to manipulate us against each other.

Previous Articles Written On This Subject TWO YEARS AGO:

July 2014 on this website: Global Elite Agitating For War Against Russia

August 2014 on this website: War in Ukraine Manufactured by Western Oligarchs

By:  Nick Russo        August 29, 2016

The purpose of this article is to demonstrate how the Globalist’s via NATO are deliberately provoking Russia by surrounding the nation with Weapons and Troops along Russia’s Western Borders (Eastern Europe).  At the same time, the United States is, simultaneously, accusing Russia of engaging in ‘aggressive’ behavior and using this false claim to ‘justify’ NATO’s movement of weapons and troops along Russia’s border.

The Globalist’s are acting aggressively towards Russia by militarizing the Russian border with Europe.  As Russia reacts to this aggression; the Globalist’s, through control of the media, are claiming that Russia is the aggressor and are using Russia’s actions to justify further aggressive military behavior.  Classic manipulation.

The Provocation BEGAN when the United States and George Soros backed and instigated a coup in Ukraine.  This Soros/U.S. backed coup came immediately after the Ukrainian government rejected offers to join the European Union and, instead, opted to join the Russian Common Union.  Because of the Ukrainian’s government Turning from the West, the United States backed a coup which overthrew a democratically elected government and replaced it with a U.S. puppet.  Of course, the U.S. puppet government in Ukraine immediately returned down the path toward the European Union.  In reaction to the overthrow of their Democratically elected leaders and to a puppet government being installed in their country, Ukrainians in the Russian-Speaking, eastern area of Ukraine (this area borders Russia and is known as Crimea) began to protest.  These citizens of eastern Ukraine overwhelmingly voted for the government just overthrown by the West and their protests were a call to the rest of the world to witness the West’s anti-democratic.  Instead, the protests were met with the deployment of NATO backed troops and equipment into eastern Ukraine to ‘protect’ the newly installed pro-western government.  With Western troops and equipment now moving into a previously neutral, buffer zone between Europe and Russia (an Aggressive Act) and also into a strategic port for Russia, President Vladimir Putin was forced (Provoked) to act to secure his Black Sea Naval Fleet’s only water access point-in the Crimean peninsula- which accesses the Balkans, the Mediterranean, and the Middle East-a highly strategic water port for Russia’s Navy.

This original act of overthrowing a democratically elected government on Russia’s border and moving NATO/U.S./Ukrainian troops into the neutral zone of Crimea IS the original aggressive act which provoked Russia to secure its interests in the area and BEGAN the military buildup on the border of Russia and Eastern Europe.  Can you imagine IF Russia overthrew Canada or Mexico and installed a puppet government?  What would we do?

Here is a timeline of events of the Provocation/Surrounding of Russia, the Failed European Union-Ukraine Treaty Deal, and the Ukrainian Coup:

July 2013: Russia Furious About NATO Drill Centered Around “Foreign Invasion” of Poland

Russia has slammed an upcoming NATO military exercise set to take place in the ex-Soviet Baltic republics that centers around a “foreign invasion” of Poland and represents the organization’s biggest training drill since the Cold War.

November 21, 2013 –  fast forward to the EU summit in Lithuania when President Yanuyovch  embarrassed the European Union by rejecting its Agreement in favor of joining Russia’s Common Union with other Commonwealth Independent States. (provided by

November 29, 2013 :(Coup begins with orchestrated protestors trained by Soros Foundations) –  well-orchestrated protestors were already in the streets of Kiev as European Commission President Jose Manual Barroso announced that the EU would “not accept Russia’s veto” of the Agreement.

Many of the participants in Kiev’s ‘EuroMaidan’ demonstrations were members of Soros-funded NGOs and/or were trained by the same NGOs in the many workshops and conferences sponsored by Soros’ International Renaissance Foundation (IRF), and his various Open Society institutes and foundations. The IRF, founded and funded by Soros, boasts that it has given ‘more than any other donor organization’ to ‘democratic transformation’ of Ukraine,”

December 13, 2013 – As if intent on providing incontrovertible evidence of US involvement in Ukraine’s coup, Assistant US Secretary of State for Europe and Eurasia Victoria Nuland proudly told a  meeting of the International Business Conference sponsored by the US-Ukrainian Foundation that the US had ‘invested’ more than $5 billion and ‘five years worth of work and preparation” in achieving what she called Ukraine’s ‘European aspirations.”

Secretary Clinton’s spokesperson at the State Dept says she made it “absolutely clear” to Yanukovych (overthrown leader) that the US required “immediate steps” …to “get back into conversation with Europe and the IMF.”

January 30, 2014 –   The State Department’s website Media Note announced Nuland’s upcoming travel plans that:

”In Kyiv, Assistant Secretary Nuland will meet with government officials, opposition leaders, civil society and business leaders to encourage agreement on a new government and plan of action.”  In other words, almost a month before President Yanukovych was ousted, the US was planning to rid the world of another independently elected President.

February 23, 2014 Anonymous Ukraine hackers released a series of emails from a Lithuanian government advisor to an opposition leader regarding plans to destabilize Ukraine (email quotes below):

“Our American friends promise to pay a visit in the coming days, we may even see Nuland or someone from the Congress.”  12/7/2013

“Your colleague has arrived ….his services may be required even after the country is destabilized.” 12/14/2013

“I think we’ve paved the way for more radical escalation of the situation.  Isn’t it time to proceed with more decisive action?” 1/9/2014

May 27, 2014George Soros Admits Responsibility For Coup In Ukraine

“First on Ukraine, one of the things that many people recognized about you was that you during the revolutions of 1989 funded a lot of dissident activities, civil society groups in eastern Europe and Poland, the Czech Republic. Are you doing similar things in Ukraine?” Zakaria asked Soros.

Well, I set up a foundation in Ukraine before Ukraine became independent of Russia. And the foundation has been functioning ever since and played an important part in events now,” Soros responded.

May 2015: Britain sends biggest warship for NATO drills on Russian border

Britain is ramping up its military rhetoric, sending its biggest warship for NATO drills in the Baltic, right off the Russian coast, in this latest show of force.

Naturally, we will increase our forces in Crimea because NATO countries have stepped up their activities… in the immediate vicinity of our borders,” said Russia’s envoy to NATO, Aleksandr Grushko

November 2015:  Obama Urged to Break Russia-NATO Treaty, Put Troops in Eastern Europe

President Barack Obama is being urged to permanently station troops in Eastern Europe to thwart a Russian threat, even though such a move would break a 1997 treaty

April/May 2016: Russia amassing troops at borders in challenge to NATO

Russia is set to establish three new military divisions — around 30,000 troops — along its borders in a direct challenge to Western allies’ troop buildup in the region.

NATO revealed last month that it would be sending around 4,000 troops to Poland and the former Soviet countries in the Baltic.

The (Russian) Defense Ministry is taking a series of measures in order to counter the expansion of NATO forces in direct proximity to the Russian border,” Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said.

May 2016:  US missile system in Romania (& Poland) poses threat to Russia: Kremlin

Measures are being taken to ensure the necessary level of security for Russia. The president himself (Vladimir Putin), let me remind you, has repeatedly asked who the system will work against?”

the director of the Russian foreign Ministry.. said.. that the deployment of US missile systems at military bases in Romania and Poland would undermine strategic stability in Europe.

June 2016: NATO Begins Encirclement Of Russia

NATO prepares a veritable military buildup in Eastern Europe: German soldiers are operating in Lithuania, the British take over Estonia, and US soldiers move in to protect Latvia. The Canadians will be in Poland. Also in the Mediterranean, combat units are being increased. Russia perceives the activity as a threat…

July 2016:  Finland To Join NATO and Continue The Surrounding of  Russia

Do you think we will continue to act in the same manner [if Finland joins NATO]? We (Russians) have withdrawn our troops 1,500 [km from the border]. Do you think they will stay there?, Putin told reporters.

July 2016: Hacked Emails Confirm NATO Push To Provoke, Escalate Conflict With Russia

NATO accelerated its encirclement of Russia, with British soldiers deployed in Estonia, US soldiers operating in Latvia and Canadians in Poland, while combat units are being increased in the Mediterranean

NATO found another excuse for war, assessing that it may now have grounds to attack Russia when it announced that if a NATO member country becomes the victim of a cyber attack by persons in a non-NATO country such as Russia or China, then NATO’s Article V “collective defense” provision requires each NATO member country to join that NATO member country if it decides to strike back against the attacking country.

July 2016:  President Putin Begs the Media To Wake Up

“How do you not understand the world is being pulled in an irreversible direction?”, Russian President Vladimir Putin

August 2016:  Putin Masses 40,000 Troops on Border With Ukraine

The manoeuvres are part of what the Russian strongman sees as the fortification of a new front line with NATO

Among the units deployed to the area are armored vehicles, tanks and fighter jets.

We urge both sides to avoid provocative steps or rhetoric that could escalate the situation

Ask yourself who is acting aggressively:  the U.S. with 700-800 foreign military bases globally or the country with 7-8 foreign military bases?  Which seems to be building an Empire?
