I had the pleasure of seeing George Carlin live in Las Vegas and, of course, he had the entire house laughing and thinking all night long. What made him unique was that he incorporated his personal beliefs into his act. His act had a purpose. He was a very intelligent man who observed what was happening around him and critiqued it. His social critique was pure blunt force. He used this blunt force to try and shake people out of their trance and at least be aware of what is happening to them. It was authentic. It was honest.
Rest In Peace Mr. George Carlin.
