So this is what our government considers an increase in jobs for the month of September.
We increased the amount of jobs in the month of September by 248,000. (Official Govt Stat)
During the same month of September 315,000 people were no longer ‘participating in the labor force’ (Official Govt Stat). The majority of these individuals are people whose long term unemployment benefits ran out and are no longer counted as ‘people in the workforce’.
+248,000 New Individuals With Jobs
-315,000 New Individuals Out of Jobs

This is not a positive job performance statistic, but all the ‘major’ media outlets celebrated it as ‘continued positive performance of the economy’.
But we should not be surprised. The same government under Common Core, Obama’s educational guidelines instituted in Public Schools in 44 states, teach that as long as you can explain how you arrived at an incorrect answer its okay- as shown in this video of a public school teacher explaining the ‘new math’ to parents.
“But even under the new Common Core… even if they said 3 X 4 was 11, if they were able to explain their reasoning and explain how they came up with their answer, really in words and in oral explanations, and they showed it in a picture but they just got the final number wrong, we’re really more focusing on the how and why.” Video Here (42 Secs)
So how can we be surprised when these same folks tell us that 248,000 – 315,000 equals a positive number. We can’t.
