Subtle Social Media Censorship Promotes Government Agendas

Here is an interesting question.  Why does twitter ban some accounts for “targeted abuse” while letting international terrorist groups literally show humans being beheaded on their active Twitter accounts. The answer to this question is that Twitter is being used to promote social and political agendas and it is not the free and open ‘common’ for human exchange which people think it is.

As an example, an article by Steve Watson describes how one woman’s Twitter account was deleted after she simply re-tweeted a  Modern Feminist’s comments from another article:

“The woman behind a movement against radical feminism has had her Twitter account erased after she merely quoted the words of the radical feminist she was engaged in debate with. Janet Bloomfield’s account @JudgyBitch1, which had amassed 15,000 followers and boasted a weekly reach of approximately 50,000, was removed from Twitter after Bloomfield, innovator of the hashtag #WomenAgainstFeminism, tweeted out a quote from a feminist writing in the London Guardian.”

As Ms. Bloomfields’ Facebook page explains, “I have twice been suspended from Twitter after harassment campaigns from other Twitter users who are angry with me for being the main driver behind the #WomenAgainstFeminism hashtag.”

Sounds like somebody doesn’t like what Janet Bloomfield has to say.

Although engaging in debate about whether the Modern Feminism Movement has really helped women is NOT tolerated on Twitter, here is what is tolerable.

In an article titled Crowdsourcing Terror, Gilad Shiloach shows how ISIS is asking its Twitter followers how it should dispose of a captured Jordanian pilot.  The Twitter account asks its followers to give them ideas on how to commit the CRIME.

“Two days after Jordanian fighter pilot Moaz al-Kasasba was taken captive by the Islamic State, the terror organization’s followers are playing a shockingly repugnant game on social media, sharing posts about how to kill the 26-year-old first lieutenant.”

Why would Twitter not allow someone who is anti-Modern Feminism, but allow terrorists engaged in horrific activities to continue with impunity?

The answer could be because both Modern Feminism and ISIS are funded, supported and protected by the United States government.

Would it surprise anyone that the founder of Modern Feminism worked for the CIA?

Here is Gloria Steinem, commonly recognized as the mother of Modern Feminism, in her own words describing how she worked for the CIA and her and other “student leaders” were given money by the CIA  for many “programs”.  See Here

She was then “set up” in her role as editor of Ms Magazine which has mysterious initial funding with the major financial backers all having CIA connections.

As examples of how ISIS is “guided” by the U.S. government, here are the well documented examples of how ISIS has been funded, supported, and protected by the United States all in the name of dethroning the leader of a secular Islamic country-Syria. The United States Trained and Armed ISIS  &  More Proof ISIS Built By West

More revealing is the article on how the CIA is trolling around all the social media platforms gathering information and trying to influence public sentiment.  An excerpt from the article, How The CIA Uses Social Media reveals:

“..an Electronic Frontier Foundation lawsuit revealed how the Department of Homeland Security has carefully monitored a variety of public online sources, from social networks to highly popular blogs like Daily Kos for years, alleging that “leading up to President Obama’s January 2009 inauguration, DHS established a Social Networking Monitoring Center (SNMC) to monitor social-networking sites for ‘items of interest.’ “In August, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), invited analysts to submit proposals on the research applications of social media to strategic communication. DARPA planned on shelling out $42 million in funding..”

So maybe the answer is real simple.  The things that are censored on Twitter and other social media platforms are the things that don’t go along with the government sponsored programs like Modern Feminism and Radical Islamic Terrorism.
